“My toes curled, sinking into the soft cold sand. Swirling salt water rolled up over my pale white feet and ankles, bubbling playfully around my legs. I breathed in through my nose and smiled. Standing there in the cool refreshing water, basking under a deep blue sky and the hot summer sun, watching my feet appearing and then disappearing, I had a strange sensation come over me, and at that moment, I realized everything I knew was absolutely nothing compared to the rest.
